Education:

Programs that focus on topics of Irish historical, cultural or developmental relevance;

The Arts:

Mediums that explore Irish themes and/or promote tradition, including visual arts, theatre, dance and music

How does the GCICF acquire funds?

Through the generosity of private and corporate donations, trusts and endowments, the GCICF can continue to support Irish cultural events in the central Ohio community. The amount of financial support we are able to give depends solely on these contributions.

If I choose to give a gift to the GCICF, will my donation be tax deductible?

Absolutely. All bequests made to the GCICF are fully tax deductible under the Internal Revenue statute.

Do you fund individual scholarly research?

No. The GCICF does not fund individual research.

Does the GCICF fund entire projects?

The GCICF strongly encourages the demonstration of matching funds or shared cost funding for any project. It  is our objective to offer funding assistance to as many worthwhile projects as possible, based on available funds.

What criteria does the GCICF use in determining funding?

The GCICF considers the merits of all project requests based on several factors, including the number of people the program will reach in the community, the significance of the program in advancing Irish culture, and the marketing strategies that will be utilized to affect the attainment of these goals.
